Merentha's Guilds
Guilds are collections of like minded people who have sought to join forces. As a guild member you get a guild ring but no other special bonuses are awarded to guilds. Guilds can purchase guild halls and even build onto existing halls. They may also purchase and run shops with part of the sales going to their treasuries.
To join a guild locate one of the guild masters or council members of the guild you are interested in.
Guild shields and logos may be emailed to guilds@merentha.com. Images should be 300x300 or larger.
The Torturers
The Torturers are an ancient guild started before modern history was
recorded. This guild has no known origin, but it is rumored that the
Kingdoms were in need of some sort of law and order, so the Torturers
arose to combat the growing populations of outlaws and ruthless anarchy.
They brought peace through fear, the fear of knowing that any who break
the law would be hunted and dragged back to the Citadel, where they would
be tortured for the remainder of their short and miserable lives. They
became an example for any who would break the law. A sentence worse than
death...
