Fighter and Rogue Skills
COMBAT (General Help)
The skills used in physical combat:
melee A player's mastery of unarmed close combat. attack A player's general offensive ability. defense A player's general defensive ability. two handed A player's ability to use 2 handed weapons. double wielding A player's mastery of combat with two wielded weapons. charging A centaur or satyr's skill at charging.
Warriors live and die by their fighting skills Clerics and monks should have some fighting skills Rogues do better with stealth than toe-to-toe fighting Mages do better with magic
Combat damage is based on strength and stamina along with your mobility. Whether you hit or not is based on dexterity and stamina. Being too highly intoxicated also affects your fighting.
You can now set your own combat colours. the commands are...
setcolor combat-hit RED setcolor combat-miss GREEN setcolor combat-other BLUE
That will set all hit messages in the battle between you and an enemy to red and so on. Other combat is when watching other people fight. Type help setcolor for more information.
